Jeffrey Foote Mediation Building upon his long career as a trial lawyer, Jeffrey Foote has completed his transition from advocate to mediator. What better background for a mediator than evaluating, winning, losing, and settling cases over a 30+ year period? Mr. Foote understands the uncertainties of the jury system and has proven to be an effective and honest broker among plaintiffs and defendants in mediation. Having tried his last case in the Spring of 2008, Mr. Foote now works exclusively as a mediator. Unlike many of his colleagues, Mr. Foote does not accept arbitration cases, simply because he enjoys the opportunity to sit down with the parties and creatively explore, in a comfortable and safe environment, the opportunities for resolution.   Mr. Foote works primarily out of his office in Portland, Oregon but enjoys travelling, whether across town or across the country.
